    graphics (6.0)

For some reason, unknown to me, graphics on my web pages have all become red blocks. What do I have to change in order to view them normally? I've tried right clicking, but the "show picture" choice is greyed out. Any help would be appreciated.

Does this apply to all pictures/graphics?
Do graphics show up in any HTML emails? - do you use Outlook/Outlook Express?

I'd try flushing your cache (Temporary Internet Files).

Try deleting all of the Temporary Internet files. Tools/Options/Delete Files.

I use Outlook, also use Lotus notes. (Company). Both show internet graphics OK. I tried flushing the cache... no change.

If you are using Windows XP with Service Pack 2, is the browser displaying any security notification? This usually appears just under the address bar. My computer also makes a strange noise when displaying this notification.

Do you have any firewall or "web privacy" software installed? If so, you might check whether it is trying to block ads or web bugs, or anything else that it might be confusing with normal images.

I think the strange sound is the IE pop-up blocker. You can control its sound by unchecking the box at Tools | Pop-up Blocker | Pop-up blocker settings.

I've found the problem thanks to you. The popup blocker my server provided, was the culprit, I changed some settings and all is well.
    Thanks for the direction.
