    Startup (XP Home 2)

Somehow! I've caused the folder "My Computer" to open everytime I boot. I can't find any reference to it in the regular startup folder. How can I remidy this? Help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Re: Startup (XP Home 2)

The main cause for this is a failed attempt to run a program whose path is incorrectly written. This is usually seen with the system32 folder but it is not limited to that folder. For a description of the problem and how to troubleshoot it see Explorer opens on start-up
