Spellcheck Error Message (Microsoft Word XP)

When I spell check some documents I get several error messages. 1 - Word cannot find the grammar file msgr??32.dll for . 2 - When I click OK, I get the next message - Word cannot find the spelling file MSSpell3.dll or mssp232.dll for . 3 - When I click OK again I get - The spelling and grammar check is complete. Does anyone know if there is a cure? Thank you.

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge.

Apparently, spell checking is installed incompletely or incorrectly. Select Help | Detect and Repair... (you may be asked to insert the Office XP CD).

Thank you for your suggestion. I followed the instructions and was asked to insert the CD. Unfortunately it is still happening. Thanks again for your time.

I'd wait a bit to see if someone else has a suggestion. Otherwise, you may have to uninstall and reinstall Office XP.

Edited by HansV to provide link to post - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>
In the past to resolve this msg Ive done the following:

    1. from the cd obtain & copy all the spelling files & paste into location : C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedProof
do that & see if it works.

if it doesnt work then it may be a corrupt registry key.
