I'm trying without success to create a new appointment in my Outlook 2003 calendar. I've tried clicking File > New > Appointment; I've tried double-clicking the date on a 30-day view. Nothing responds. Email works fine. Any ideas?

Lucas, in Day/Week/Month Calendar views (but not table Calendar views), creating an appointment or other Calendar item via Menu is accomplished through the Actions menu, not the File menu. In Day and Week views, you can click into a time slot on the calendar, and create an item, but Month View doesn't provide adequate time-of-day granularity, so clicking in a day in Month View starts a blank appointment starting at the beginning of the work day, which you can then edit as necessary.

Well, as it happens so often with Windows, this problem went away after I rebooted my computer. Thanks for the info!
