    networking to Mac

I have an eMac and a Win98 PC connected by a router. Up until a few months ago, I could see the PC's C drive from my Mac. Then the PC had to be taken into the shop for repairs and the hard drive was wiped. Now I can't remember how I had linked the two computers together. I have allowed File Sharing on the Win98 machine, and I know all the settings are okay on the Mac because the Mac hasn't changed. Only the settings on the PC were wiped off. I can see the Mac from the PC, but I can't get it to work the other way. Can anybody help?
    Thanks much!
