    Rotating the screen! (Excel 2000>)

    Hi,
I discovered that when you press ALT+SHIFT+Arrows, it rotates the screen. Is this common in Excel? and what is its purpose?, besides using it to play a prank on some collegues!!
    Regards,
    Rudi

This has nothing to do with Excel, it is probably a function of the display driver on your PC.

    Hi Rudi

I have seen that feature on some video cards. In Excel Alt+Shift+(right or left) Arrow are used to group and ungroup. The video card may be overriding the shortcut.

    Sorry Tony,
My original post is incorrect. The combination is CTRL+ALT+Arrows.

But as Hans mensions: It's probably a VGA feature as it works irrespective of the program running!!

    Thanx
    Regards,
    Rudi

No, it's not a VGA feature, it's a feature of your graphics card/driver. VGA is old technology from 1987.
