    Treeview ordering (2k)

I archive my inbox by month, so for this year I have a January - 05, February - 05, March - 05, and April - 05 folder, but it orders it in my folder list in alphabetical order: April, Feb, Jan, Mar. Know of anyway to turn off auto-sort so i can use a calendar-like order for things?

I don't think you can do anything about the sort order in the treeview. You could name your folders 05-01 for January, 05-02 for February, etc.

This is a common problem among e-mail clients. Someone may have uncovered something, but if they have not, have you considered naming the monthe 05-01, 05-02 (& so on)? HTH

yeah that was my co-workers suggestion, I guess i'll go with that... but of course its nicer to see the months written out. Thanks guys!

If you want to see the month names, you could include them in the folder names, after the numbers, so that they don't disturb the sort order:

    05-01 January
    05-02 February
    etc.
