    Motion simulation (XP)

I want to simulate a merge in an assembly process. What I have done so far:
I have 2 boxes, one red, one green. There are 10 red boxes in a buffer, shown on screen. There are 10 Green boxes out of the viewing area. I have used custom animation to
1-move a green box into postition
2-move a red box behind it
3-move both the green and red boxes together to the next position
4-move the next green box in place.
5-move all the boxes together to the next position
    6-etc.

However, I have to keep putting the animation paths on top of each other and I can barely track them.

There has to be a better way. Any ideas. Thanks.

Does this need to happen all on one slide, or could it be done on multiple slides? If it needs to happen on one slide, I'm afraid you are stuck with the option you are using. If it can be done on multiple slides, that would break the task down into smaller increments and might well make it easier to manage. It will still be rather complex however.

It needs to happen on one slide. But now you mention it, I will try to break it up into bite size pieces on different slides, then copy and paste onto a final. It will still be complicated, but perhaps easier to manage.
