    Stupid Tooltips (Windows Explorer (XP))

    Hi.
Does anyone know a command (or a hack) that will disable the tooltips that pop up when one is browsing Windows' Explorer? I like to use the "Details" view, so I see the info I want; but when I highlight a file, either with the mouse or the arrow keys, that big, nasty yellow tooltip box pops up and obscures the files above or below the selected one. I don't want to delay the popup, i want it gone. It is QUITE the hassle for someone keyboard oriented who is trying to cruise through file maintenance tasks.

    Select Tools | Folder Options...
    Activate the View tab.
Clear the check box labeled "Show popup descriptions for folders and desktop items" (or something like that).
