    Report Footer (Access 2003 SP1)

I am using the report Footer to display report summary data. My problem is that the summary data flows over into a 2nd page but the heading information only shows on the 1st page. Is there a way to have header rows repeat when the Report Footer spans multiple pages or is there a better place to print the report summary information from that has that capability?

    Dave (formerly baffled and befuddled)

I am not really clear about the structure of your report, but...

A report contains both a Report Header and a Page Header

Anything you put in the Report Header appears just once, anything in the Page Header appears at the top of each page.

You may be able to just move what you want from one to the other.

Post back if this is not what you want.

Re: Report Footer (Access 2003 SP1)

Because of the nature of the data, I needed to create a sub-report for the summarization which, only needing to appear once, I relegated to the Report Footer. Maybe there are other options other than using the Report Footer that I may not be aware of. I used the Report Header for the cover page and I also use page headers and footers in the main data portion of the report. My problem is that I can not figure out a way to have the header rows of my summary appear as a header on the second page.

I thinbk you are going to have to use some code.

I attach a little demo that might give you an idea to try out.

I put two different bits of text in the page header then use code to determine which one to show. Create a boolean variable, and set it to true when you format the Report Footer. Then use the value of thsi to determine which of the page headers to make visible.
