Win 2000 (Pro)...drag & drop Data CD burning?

    Gang,

I took my old CD-RW drive (TDK) to work to use with my office PC.

Without having to install the Nero burning software...

I thought that Windows 2000 (in this case...Professional)...could burn data CD-R's on it's own, just by dragging & dropping files to the drive in the file tree.

It doesn't seem to be working for me; & I could use some help.

    Thanks,

You need third party software to burn CDs with Win2k.
