    Update to Access 2003?? (2003)

I had originally installed Access 2003 (Office 2003 PRO) and then removed it because of indiscriminate program crashes, and reverted to Access 2000.

I am wondering what the experience is now that Service Pack 1 for Office was released? Is it pretty stable now, or am I better to continue with Access 2000?

    Thanks for any insights.

We've found it to much more stable with SP1 installed - we have several clients using it and crashes are quite rare. At this point it appears to be comparable to Access 2000 SP3. There aren't many compelling feature advantages that suggest migrating however - pivot tables, some nice usability improvements, and robust XML support come to mind.

Thanks for your advice. I had real trouble with Access 2003 before and was willing to try it again, but perhaps, as you suggest, there isn't much advantage to doing so.

    Thanks again.
