Graphic and text-Custom animation (PowerPoint 03)

I have a standard bullet list slide that is animated one line at a time. Some of the lines refer to icons or pictures which I want to display when the particular line appears. Is there any way to do this?

Hmmm... absent a quick answer, I'd do it the old-fashioned way: multiple slides, creating the appearance of builds being done on the same slide. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

I have PPT 2002 so I assume this method will still be available in the next version.
When you animate the bulleted list, you should see a double downward vee underneath the bulleted list in the custom animation task pane.
Click on that v and the bulleted list will open up showing each point in the list.
Now you can use the reorder function to change the order of animation of your icons or pictures, interleaving them with the points on the list.

    Excellent feature!

Thank you! I had my animations set from the slide master so did not see each of the bullet points listed separately. I copied the animations to the slide, and was able to do what I wanted.
