Word Completion

I'm using an IPAQ with Pocket PC 4.20.0. Does anyone know how to change the word items in Word Completion. I've added (by mistake) misspelled words that I'd like to get out of there. Any ideas?

The user directory is "custom.dic" in the Windows folder (same as the desktop app). It's a text file but if you have the standard PocketPC set-up you may find it difficult to edit.

PocketWord won't see it as it has a ".DIC" extension. If you find it using FileExplorer it won

Thanks, Keith for the info. Sorry for the delay in responding; I've been sick. I don't understand....why would any decent programmer create a custom file that cant' be easily edited? This makes no sense to me.

I suspect they "dumbed down" File Explorer to make it "easier" to use. As well as not being able to Associate a file with an app, you can't turn on (display) it's extension ( custom.dic appears as custom ), you can't adjust column widths, etc. Likewise, PocketWord seems to have the "we know what's best" interface (if I'd wanted a Mac I would have got one )

I would recomend the file utility Total Commander http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm
