Saving e-mail message default format (Outllok 2002 SP3)

    Hi

I was wondering if there is a way to change the default "Save as Type" when you save an e-mail message in Outlook 2002 SP3. By default, it wants to save an e-mail as HTML, but here we always save them as "Message Format (*.msg)". Is there a registry key that can be modified to make the default "Message Format (*.msg)".

    Thanks,

    Gilles

Re: Saving e-mail message default format (Outllok

It actually depends on which format the Outlook message is in - as it defaults to Text, Rich Text or HTML accordingly. As a workaround, you can always put the name of the message in quotes with .msg ("This Message.msg") at the end - which will enable to MSG format. HTH
