    Junk mail (XP/2002)

I'm happily using Oultlook 2003, but my wife only has Outlook XP/2002. She's getting more junk mail recently so we turned on the junk mail facility, but now sometimes OL treats legitimate mail as junk. I naively expected it to work like mine does in OL 2003, but she seems to have no facility in 2002 to add senders to a safe senders list. If we turn off the junk mail filtering, can we still at least add senders to the junk senders list? (The information in the Help in Outlook is less than comprehensive at this point.)

I never used Outlook 2002's junk mail filtering, which I understood to be very limited. Your wife probably will get better results with a program like the open-source SpamBayes, or any of a wide variety of commercial products, than with Outlook 2002's limited features.
