    Tagging a Post

Occassionally, there is a post that contains information that I know I will want to visit again. For example, <post#=469295>post 469295</post#> . What is the recommended way to mark these for future retrieval. I suppose one way would be to create a New Folder in my browsers Favorites menu and mark the spot with descriptive links. Is anyone else using this method or something better?

    Re: Tagging a Post

You can add a post to your Reminder list in the Lounge control panel.
You can add a post to your browser Favorites/Bookmarks.
You can create your own HTML page or Word document or Excel spreadsheet with hyperlinks to posts.
You can save useful posts/threads to your hard disk.
You can copy useful info from posts into a Word document.
    etc.

    Re: Tagging a Post

I just now for the first time realized there was a Remider List on the Controls page. This seems to do the trick nicely. And when that fills up, I think the Browser/Favorites will be the best second choice. I thought it would be interesting to see what method the experienced loungers used to store useful posts...

    Thanks

I'm not sure of any capacity limits on the Reminder List, but my Watched thread list just keeps growing, with a "View All..." option at the bottom, once the page display limit was exceeded.

    Re: Tagging a Post

    Tricky,
I created an Excel sheet that stores all the interesting / valuable posts for quick reference. I will post it for you tomorrow as it is on my home PC! It works well for me; storing all the info and details for quick search and access to the relavent posts!!!
    Regards,
    Rudi

    Re: Tagging a Post

Yes it seems to do that! I cant recall it doing it on my original, but I never picked it up. <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>
I notice that if I right click the button it resets. As to why it does this...I don't know????
    Regards,
    Rudi
