print with comments missing - Adobe Reader 7

The 'Print with Comments' option is missing from my Adobe Reader 7. Is there a way to set this option up>

On the right side of File | Print there is a 'Comments and Forms' drop down. Select 'Document and Markups' to include comments. See the Reader Help for more information on 'comments'.

Sorry, but I cannot see this drop box called 'Comments and Forms' on the right side of the print button, or in the menu selection. I also cannot see a commenting toolbar.

Can you post a picture of the popup when you select File | Print?

Sorry I was not clear, I meant that when you select Print there is another popup that will open. On the right side of it near the top should be the drop down.

Hi Joe: I finally did find that screen. I was expecting the file | print with comments like adobe writer. However, I cannot get the reader 7 to print comments, even when documents and markups is selected. I have attached a small sample file. Would you mind trying to see if you can print these comments.

Well, the comment does not print for me either. I'd suggest that you check the Adobe site for a support area or forums.

Not that it solves the issue for you, but I was able to print the document just fine with the comment using Adobe Acrobat Professional 6.0. So, there's nothing wrong with the document. Maybe it's a limitiation with Reader??

I don't know if Reader 6 is still available from Adobe's website, but just to keep in mind: OldVersion.com has up to ver. 5.

The adobe standard or professional works great; however, it costs major money. They reader 7 states it works, but we cannot get the comments to print..Susan

Adobe Reader 6 won't print the comments in the trial file posted.
