Extract Slide Notes to Notepad or Word? (PPT 2002)

Is there a means in which to extract all the text from the slides of a PowerPoint presentation (not the notes) and drop into Notepad or Word for reference later?

The menu option File | Send To | Microsoft Word... will present you with several options. "Outline only" will export the title and the "regular" bulleted lists, not text in text boxes added by the user.

Thank you....what you explained, "Outline Only" to get the text and bulleted items from File > Send To > Microsoft Word is exactly what we were seeking, however, in doing so we end up with 3 pages a of blank documents from the the 56 slides.

We have confirmed that many of them do have text and can be copied and pasted on section at a time, but were hoping for a less labourius process.

As noted, Send To | Microsoft Word will only copy text in the "standard" bulleted lists that are part of the slide layout, not text from other elements. See <post#=113377>post 113377</post#> for a macro that will copy text from ALL elements on all slides that contain text.
