    Stationery (Word 2003)

Is there a way to use a scanned picture to use as stationery or watermark (stationery preferred) to be able to select and deselect as needed for documents?

Thank you in advance for your help,

Perhaps the easiest way is to insert your scanned image into the header. This will cause it to appear on every page, but keep it mostly out of your way. You might experiment with different graphic formats and resolutions and see which works the best for you. Try not to judge by the appearance on screen... you need to print it to judge the quality. Also, most printers will not be able to print the outer 1/4 inch or so of your graphic, so if you are doing something other than a small letterhead-type header (for example, using something like a certificate frame), plan ahead for that (Word can resize your graphic to, say, 97%, but the quality might suffer).

How make it easy to use in the future: once you have inserted it once, you may be able to save it as an AutoText entry.
