    Listbox drag & drop (VB6-Win98)

I have two listbox controls - a multiselect source and a target - and have implemented OLE drag & drop from source to target item, the way I want it. The one aspect of this I can't seem to control is the appearance of the cursor during the drag/drop. It always appears as a "copy" cursor (with the plus + sign), but I only want this effect with a Ctrl+MouseDown operation, not with a normal left button drag/drop.

I'm wondering if the control itself might be limited in some way, since it's easy to oblain the desired effect with two textboxes, for instance. If not, any sample code would be appreciated.

I haven't tried it, but could you use the OLEGiveFeedback event? It has a DefaultCursors argument that can be set to False to specify that you're using a custom mouse pointer.

Thanks Hans. I'll check that out. I have since found some examples that look promising, or at least "hopeful" and perhaps indicative that it's "doable".
