    Picture Gardient (2000)

Just a short question to see if anyone can help.

We have a publisher document we a marble effect background and a large image which represents 1/2 of the page, however what we wish to do is to allow a gradient blend at the top of the image and t the bottom of the image so that it blends more naturally and does not look placed on. Any ideas if publisher can do this?
    Best Regards,

    Luke

I am using 2003 so don't know if this applies to 2000
Depending on your background and the color of the picture, you could play around with Image control.

Go to 'format picture - picture - image control - color- click on Washout' and play around with the settings and see if you can 'soften' the pictures edges and blend it in witht the background.
