    Cells in a document

    (Word 97 on WinNT)
I have a document which has a table on it. However, two of the cells at the bottom of the table have greyed out lines which disappear when printed. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I haven't really dealt with tables in word much, as Excel and Access usually do the job needed.

What you can see as greyed are most probably the gridlines. You might have accidentally turned off the bottom border of the two cells displaying this behaviour. You have to select these cells and turn the Bottom Border on. In Word 2000 there is an icon on the formatting toolbar which allows me to do this. I am not sure whether Word 97 also has the same.

Pure genius - if I had looked in the toolbars menu, i'd have found one called tables & borders.

Job done - thanks very much Rajesh.
