    O98: Using e-mail forwarding

    Hi again,
My alma mater has one of those services in which you can use its e-mail address as an alum, which does nothing but forward it to another address (your real one). A message read:
    * If you are using a POP e-mail account as your alternate address, you may set up your e-mail client to show your nualumni.com or alumni.northwestern.edu e-mail address in the

the exact location varies with the mode, but look where you set up your mail account (tools > services or tools > accounts) and you'll see a email address and reply to field, email address should already contain your current email address. add the alumni address to the reply to field.

your dialog may look slightly different than this, i don't have Ol98 installed on a machine capable of sending screen shots, so i cheated and used OE's. It's very similar though.

    Wow, cool screen shot!!

Thanks, MJ, but I can't find what you're telling me.

I'm in corporate/work group mode and the closest I come is when I got to Tools/Services, highlight "Microsoft Exchange Server" and click Properties. But there is nothing I'm able to change there and no place to put a "Reply To" address.

you won't find it in exchange services. you need to add a pop (internet mail) service in tools > services.

you could ask your admin to change the reply to address for your server acct, although i doubt that they will agree.
