    HLookup and Column (XP: SR3)

Is it possible to determine what column a match was found in using HLOOKUP?

    Thanks,
    John

    Use the MATCH function:

    =MATCH(B14,A6:F6,0)

This returns the column number within the range A6:F6 in which the value if B14 was found.

    What can I say <img src=/S/hansv.gif border=0 alt=HansV width=27 height=26> .

    That about sums it up.

    Thanks,
    John
