    VB.Net 2003 in Win98? (VB6)

I am a relatively new developer using Vb6 (SP6). I read from the news that Microsoft has terminated her support for VB6 since March 2005. I want to move on to VB.Net 2003 and am ready for its steep learning. However, there is one thing that bugs me - Will my programs compiled in VB.Net run on Win98 & Win Me machines? It appears to me that VB.Net programs will only run well in Win XP/NT 2000 hardware. some of my clients are using Win98 SE system only. Please advise.

According to Visual Basic Developer Center: System Requirements for Visual Basic .NET 2003, you need Windows 2000, XP or 2003 to develop applications in VB.Net 2003, but those applications can also be used on Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows NT4.
