    Outlook / Act! integration (XP)

Hi, I've just purchased Act! 7 and am trying to make it talk with outlook. Secondly I am also trying to import a dbf file with all my pre outlook contacts. There seems to be no decent support from the people at Act (if only I had known.. grumble grumble). I know its somewhat off topic, but does anybody here use Act7 and can you help me, especially with the import issue?

    Regards

    Marco

URL corrected by HansV from slpistick to slipstick.

Have you checked to make sure that your version of Act is listed as "compatible" with your verions of Outlook. We had a branch office guy that was having this sort of issue, but I believe that it was the other way round (new Outlook, old Act).

As far as importing to Outlook, http://www.slipstick.com is the best source.

Thanks Jim, Outlook is XP and ACT is version 7 - that should work sweet, but I'll take your advice and check out the site.

Act7 is written in/with/around vb.net. AFAIK you can't mix Act7 with VB6 or VBA. I'm struggling now to get VB.Net code to "hook onto" Opportunity manager in Act7. Struggling as in "still trying to log on to the database"; first day.
