    Import Contacts - OL2000

My assistant keeps all contact details for the firm up to date, and I need to import Contacts (only) from her copy of Outlook 2000 to mine using our network (both computers Win2000 Pro) but imports are unreliable - not all contacts import e.g. she has 417 contacts, I have 386 - and even deleting all contacts in my computer and importing hers again led to the same result.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this - have searched MSoft Knowledge Base to no effect.

    Two things to try:
Export selecting CSV (Comma Separated Values - Windows) and open with Excel - check how many are actually being exported.
On import, I believe there is an option to check and not import duplicates - is this a possibility?

    Thank you Lief,

Your first suggestion solved the problem. Yes, you are correct we can select no duplicates when importing

    Thank you very very much.
