User Defined Type Not Defined (DAO) (MS Access XP PRO 2002)

I am trying to work on a database that I did not create.
I am getting this error (User Defined Type Not Defined) on the following statement:

    DIM db AS DAO.Database

Obviously I need to add this application interface. How? Where? Appreciate any help with this I can get.
    Thanks
    Stacy

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

You can probably solve it as follows:

Activate the Visual Basic Editor (Alt+F11)
    Select Tools | References...
Locate Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library.
    Tick its check box.
    Click OK.

Post back if there are more problems.

    Hans,
Thank you so much!!!! It worked.
I belonged to you guys for almost four years and lost touch over the last year and a half.
I am glad I found you again, you are an invaluable resource, thanks for your help.
