    Windows Scripting

Is there a specific forum in the lounge for scripting items or is this the one to use for any questions related to scripting? I was suprised to not see a scripting forum with the popularity of scripting being what it is and the wealth of knowwledge on these boards. Perhaps a scripting forum is worth investigating? Thoughts?

    Re: Windows Scripting

Scripting questions tend to be scattered around based on what you are trying to automate, or the host interpreting the script. Browser and web server-related questions tend to end up on the Web Design board. Outlook form VBScript tends to be on the Outlook or VBA boards. And questions relating to scripts for managing processes on Windows-based servers might be slotted under the most relevant version of Windows or under Windows General, where you will find discussions of their close cousins, batch files. Finally, if a post concerns the scripting language itself (e.g., how to handle errors or write loops), Web Development seems to be the fallback category. Does that help?
