    win98

    I have (2) program in Win98 which run in conjunction with each other. I have a batch file which runs and when windows loads it starts the program. I would like to start both of them. I am using the line
    C:WINDOWSRUNWIN C:WindowsDesktoprslinx-1.lnk
    and it does load the RS Links program, but I also wanted to load the second program
    C:WINDOWSDesktoprs500-2.lnk
    Is this possible and if so would someone let me know, Thanks Richard

    Have you tried adding a new line to the batch file?

    C:WINDOWSRUNWIN C:WindowsDesktoprslinx-1.lnk
    C:WINDOWSRUNWIN C:WINDOWSDesktoprs500-2.lnk

    Or even better, make the batch file start the applications directly, instead of using winrun to start shortcuts to the applications.

    I appreciate the input, what you did not know is the command Runwin is the exe file whcih starts windows and it ignors the
    second line of the batch file, I even tried the call command, I know under the msconfig you can turn on and off items
    I was trying to see how to add something that would know to run the second program, but I will try your suggestion and
    I think you me find the path to the Program exe file direct I will try this as well, and thank you.
