    iPAQ and Passwords

I want to use password protected Excel files on my iPAQ. My problem is that when I build an Excel spread sheet and protect them, when I sync to my iPAQ, the spread sheet is there, but no data. If the sheet that I sync is unprotected then no problem viewing and or editing. Am I missing something here or is this the way it is?
    Thanks John

This a real issue with the Excel,Word aspect on Ipaqs. The Excel app is a cut down version of what we normally use on our PC's. No VBA or custom functions will work. On converting from a workbook and then sync-ing across large amounts of functionality is lost. I would suggest that the protection aspect is also lost similar to what I have described above. It would be interesting to see what happens when you copy it back to the PC and see if anything is restored. I have a feeling you are onto a loser. <img src=/S/bummer.gif border=0 alt=bummer width=15 height=15>
