    copying files

A while back I came across a great little program for copying and moving files. It allowed you the get past the "error message" in Windows that completely stops the copy procedure. This one lets you click ignore file and message and continues with the rest of the copy/move.
Unfortunately I somehow deleted the file and now cannot find it anywhere with google.

Have tried to use Jason's Toolbox script but it does not install.

    All help appreciated.
    Thanks,

You wouldn't happen to remember the name of this program ?? I assume it's not "Jason's Toolbox".

    Re: copying files

Am sure it's not Jason's Toolbox VBA extension since its is not the same on another computer.
I thought the name of the program was "copytomoveto" but can be mistaken.

    Re: copying files

There are a lot of great command line utilities that give you a huge amount of control over copying. Since they are commands, and have to be able to be used unattended, they have far fewer "stop" prompts. Maybe that will work for you.

XCOPY is still incuded in Windows XP., and Robocopy is in the Resource Kit. There is a 3rd party utility called XXCOPY, and someone out there has probably ported RSync to windows.

    Re: copying files

Thanks for help but what I am looking for is a tiny program which becomes part of the "File" dropdown on the main window of Explorer not in the "right click" context menu.
    I'll keep looking.
    Thanks,

Sorry, I don't know how to change the menus in Explorer.
