    Administrator Accounts (XP Pro SP2)

For reasons i won't go into, I downloaded MBSA. I did a scan. It shows that i have 3 administrators. One i don't recognize. I went to administrator list and it doesn't have the unknown one listed ,so i can't delete it. Thoughts? i only have scary ones at the moment.

    Thanks.

What was the account name, and did you have the files deleted when you deleted the account?

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

The account name was VUSR_TcsServer_CSS. I haven't deleted anything. I've just kept looking around. When I went into Users under Computer Mgmt, I saw another that says ASPNET Description (account used for running the asp.net worker process.

The ASP ... account was installed there by the ".Net Framework" It's an account especially create to run these types of programs as a restricted user.

I don't recoignize the other one. What group is it in ?

It is in Local User and Groups and is under Users & Groups and UVM is the group name. I have not idea what/when it appeared. I cannot delete or remove it. When I remove it, and reboot it is still there.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

Neither Google nor TechNet recognises "VUSR_TcsServer_CSS", nor even "TcsServer" (except for a couple of irrelevant Google items).

Could you check again that these are spelled exactly right?

Personally, I would avoid trying to delete these until you know what it relates to...

    John
    <font face="Script MT Bold"><font color=blue><big><big>John</big></big></font color=blue></font face=script>

    Ita, esto, quidcumque...
