    Firefox - windows don't open (Firefox 1.0.3)

Strange problem - the only way I can get Lounge links to open is press Ctrl and click on the link. This opens a new tab and the link opens fine. This behavior is true for virtually all Lounge links, including Make a New Post.

Any ideas for how to remedy this?

    Thanks,

Could it be the popup blocker? The Lounge does tend to proliferate new windows under certain circumstances... although I don't think New Post is one of them.

Whenever something weird happens with Firefox. I blame my extensions first.

I agree with Jim that it is most likely to be due to an extension. To test this try starting Firefox in safe mode and then try using the Lounge. If this rectifies the problem then one of your extensions is probably the cause.

If you do not get the problem in safe mode then you will need to go through the process of disabling an extension, restarting Firefox and testing links in the Lounge until you find the culprit. The first extensions to check are those that deal with tabbed browsing or bookmarks. It is possible that 2 extensions are conflicting with each other.

Another possible cause is a problem with your profile. Try creating a new profile and then try the links in the Lounge. If you decide to create a new profile then you can copy certain files from your old profile to restore your settings but you will have to re-install all extensions.
