    Position Table

How do I position a table so that it always stays at the same place on the page (the bottom) even if the paragraph above it (not in a table) grows?

    Hi Kevin,

What about putting it in a text box or frame?

    Re: Position Table

I was just going to post to Al: Are you saying I should put the table in a text box or frame? Imagine that!

Thanks for confirming the wisdom of this approach.

Al's right on the money, just a minute quicker'n me. Fire that bad boy of a table into a borderless, backgroundless textbox and position away.

    Re: Position Table

Upon closer inspection I discover that the entire document is in a table. The text above is in a cell. So, what I really need is a way to add text to the "above" cell without causing the the cells below to push to the next page. Oy vey!

Goodness, gracious. I can't believe I'm so dumb. I should try a little more patience before firing off a post.

Just move the cell border down. Duh.

Sorry for the trouble. But nice to hear from you.

Not a problem, Kevin. To you, the Range question I asked the other day was simple. To me..... So, I guess we are even. <img src=/S/wink.gif border=0 alt=wink width=15 height=15>
