    Table Feature Problem (2000)

Hi, my db has a number of queries that feed into list boxes bases on user criteria. It has been working fine until this morning when I used the new feature that came with 2000 where you can view the la linked tables features by clicking the + sign at the side of the one record to display the many. Since invoking this, the queries I refer to are throwing up errors, how can I reverse this feature?

    Thanks

I set the Subdatasheet Name property of all tables in all my databases to [None]. Does it help if you do that in your database?

Thanks Hans, it hasn't helped, the perculiar thing is I have an identical db which I try 'my stuf' out on and that is fine. The query concerned is throwing up 'invalid argument' yet it mirrors my identical databse. I am most confused.

    Thanks.

You could attach a stripped down and zipped copy of the database if you liked.

    Re: Table Feature Problem (2000)

Thanks Hans, it's a bit diffcult since there is a lot happening on the DB. I seem to have got to the root of the issue but I don't know what's causing it. An undelying table is throwing up ths 'invalid argumant' message when I filter on any field apart from the primary auto ID? Any suggestions. I will try to see if I can get you a zip copy otherwise.

    Thanks again Darren.

Perhaps someone else has an idea, I don't.

I would suspect some sort of corruption as the most likely cause. Make a backup and then try a compact and repair and see if that helps. If it doesn't, then you might try importing all the objects into a new database and see if that resolves the issue.

Thanks guys appears it is a corruption. I have retrieved a back up.

    Thanks Darren.
