    Question on complex query (2000)

    Hi,

I have the following question and not sure how it's best resolved. I have a tblSolicitors which has a list of different solicitors. In a table called tblSaleAgreed I have a Psolid and VSolid which link to thes SolID in tbl Solicitors. i want to create a mail merge but obviously if I put both into the query to do the merge there will be an error as there are two references to the tblsolicitors record so would I need to builder an expression? If so how?

    Best Regards,

Re: Question on complex query (2000)

Create a query in design view.
Add tblSaleAgreed and add tblSolicitors twice. Link one of the instances on SolID vs PSolID, the other one on SolID vs VSolID.
Add the fields you need to the query design grid.
Give the fields from the two instances of tblSolicitors suitable aliases to distinguish them.
Use the query for the mail merge.
