    Administrative Install (Office XP SP3)

    Hi,

We have over 500 users in our organization, with about 20% of them in remote area where they have slow internet connectivity. I am wondering if it is possible to create an administrative install, then apply of the service pack to this administrative install, and then move this installation package to a CD, so that we can send out a copy of this CD to the remote areas. Obviously, we have all the required licences.....

Any guidance on this would be great!

    Gilles

    Hi Hans,

Sounds like you've had to do this many times before, or at least answer this question many times before. Thank you very much, the information you provided will do the trick. I'm also sending you a little virtual local gift, too bad I can't send you the real thing.

    Thanks,

    Gilles

Actually, I never do that kind of thing - the IT department of the company where I work takes care of that. But thanks for the gift. <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>
