    Accessing email from Access (Access 2000 Pro)

    Is there anyway that I can add a link/button/code, etc., to have Outlook open a new email and capture the email address and contact from the active access form then be able to send it right then?

    You can put a command button on the form, with code like the following in the On Click event:

    Private Sub cmdMail_Click()
    DoCmd.SendObject To:=Me.Email, EditMessage:=True
    End Sub

    where cmdMail is the name of the command buttom and Email is the name of the field containing the e-mail address. If you like, you can specify the subject, and even the mail message - click in the word SendObject and press F1 to get help.
