    Excel Auto Printin (Excel XP)

When client opens Excel spreadsheet, it automatically sends a copy to the printer. Is there some feature that he may have accidently turned on that would cause this to happen?

If it just happens on one spreadsheet then check for any auto_open or workbook_open macros in that file as they may contain instructions to print the file.

If it happens to all workbooks that are opened via Windows Explorer then it could be caused by the default action for XLS files being set to print instead of open.

To check this, in Windows Explorer select "Tools>Folder Options..."
Select the "File Types" tab and scroll down to and select the XLS file type
Click Advanced, the action that is set as default will be in bold. If this is print then select open and click "Set default"
(Above instructions based on Windows XP but will be similar for other versions)
