    neoteris_read_nnnnnnnn.reg (XP Pro SP2)

I have noticed a number of very large files in the top level Cocuments and SettingsUsername folders on this PC.

There are 8 of these files, each has a file name like neoteris_read_14602480.reg (but the numbers vary), and is 3,330KBytes (that's nearly 3.5 MBytes in size). The contents look as though it is a complete dump of the registry.

A quick google search didn't account for them, anyone know what application is generating them?

When you say you did a Google search, did you search for neoteris itself?

Neoteris was a VPN product, but the company was taken over by NetScreen and now seems to be called Juniper (Networking and Security: Juniper Networks). Have you installed new VPN software on your PC?

Thanks, that explains it. I do use a juniper networking product, and it was first installed on the date that the first of these files appeared.
