Common Spell checker object (Office 2003)

Does Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook all use a common object for performing the spell check? If so what is that object and how can I access it instead of having to access it via the Word object or the Excel object, etc.?

The Office applications use a common spell checking engine, but it is not available for use outside the Office apps. See INFO: The Microsoft Common Speller API (CSAPI) for Office Spell Checking.

If you are seeking a spell checker program outside of Office I recommend, WordWeb at WWW.WordWeb.info, they have a free and pro version . This little program is fairly usefully unless your spelling is way off, it also offers synonyms and such.
