Thread: Report format
2001-06-06, 05:41 #1TonyMGuest
I am doing a report in Access97 and have a list of database locations to display. Because the database can be in up to 8 locations there are fields to display the location. In the report they are 8 controls are placed in the detail field in a tabular arrangement. If there is only one location for the database there is a lot of space between each new database location. Is there a way to close up the space if the control doesnot contain any data?
Hope this makes sense to anyone?

Re: Report format
You might try the CanShrink property of the sometimes-empty textboxes. OR you could concatenate your 8 fields into one textbox like: [Field1] & " " & [Field2] & " " ....and so on.
