Show a picture in a form or report with same quali (Access 2002)

When creating a picture (linked not embedded) that is say 3" x 4", can you insert it into a OLE box on a form of size 1.5" x 2" (or 1" x 1") and still keep the same sharpness?

I never use an OLE control to show a pcture, always an Image control. Anyway, both have a Size Mode property that determines how a pucture is displayed. It can be set to Clip, Stretch or Zoom. Stretch is not recommended (it distorts the picture); Clip will display the picture in its original size, hence only part of it, and Zoom will fit the picture in the control without distorting it. Some detail will be lost - the pixels on your screen won't become smaller to accomodate the zoom. Does that answer your question?

Actually I searched the forum and found what you have just said. In fact I have got it working so that is shows a picture a lot smaller and it appears quite sharp.

When you say some detail will be lost, so there is any way pixels on the screen can become smaller to accomodate the zoom, maybe some API?
