    Displaying Dates & Times (A2K)

    Here is what I have:

    Date Field: F05_Date_Time

TextBox01: Format is Long Date and displays "Friday, May 13, 2005"

    Date Field: F05_Date_Time

TextBox02: Format is Medium Time and displays "11:58 AM"

I currently display these in the two separate boxes with the Label "Started: " in front of TextBox01 and the Label " @ " between TextBox01 and TextBox02 so that it looks like:

    Started: Friday, May 13, 2005 @ 11:58 AM

Is there a way that all of these separate entities can be combined into one and still maintain the correct Date/Time formatting? Tried a few variations and got some really, ugly results.

Thanks as always in advance for any help.
    Cheers,
    Andy

Try a text box with Control Source F05_Date_Time, and Format set to

    <code>dddd, mmmm d, yyyy @ h:nn AM/PM</code>

    Hans,

Thanks for your usual quick reply. Displayed the date, @ sign and time just as I wished. I tried the sneak in the "Started: " into the formula with the usual ugly results, so I guess I just have to keep it as a separate Label.
    Again, thanks,
    Cheers,
    Andy

If you want to include the word Started in the format, put it in quotes:

    <code>"Started: "dddd, mmmm d, yyyy @ h:nn AM/PM</code>

    Hans,

Exactly! I did put quotes in mine, but I unfortunately thought that I had to include an ampersand. Thanks muchly,
    Cheers,
    Andy
