How to remove the icon in taskbar tray (2003 SP1)

Is there any way to prevent the Outlood Icon from appearing in the tray of active jobs? It never used to be there until I upgraded to 2003 & SP1.

I find it of little use and a waste of ram. I'd prefer to not see it as I always have Outlook active and its the first item on my task bar anyway.

    Thanks.

My reading of this Microsoft article is that you can only opt to have the (main) Taskbar icon hidden, thus taking up less space. (Look for Outlook icons and taskbar notification balloon tips.)

As a 2000/2002 user and someone used to Outlook appearing on the far left of the Taskbar, I would find that change particularly irritating.
