    Mail Merge - Delimited File (Word 2003)

    I have a delimited file in word that I downloaded from a main frame system. I use this as my data source for my mail merge and it works great. It prints out 1300 labels representing 1300 different people. The problem is I would like to print out 7 labels per person and in a row of the same person. Then print the next 7of another person. Example 7 Al Adams, then 7 Ed Adams ect. Is there a way to do this??? Thanks in advance...

    Can you attach the main document (the form)?

    Thanks!

    The reason Karen asked for the main document is to know if there are two labels across (or perhaps three across) and seven down. The easiest solution would be to simply remove some of the Next Record fields from your main document, but the number of labels on a sheet needs to be divisible by seven in order to do that. Other solutions require either altering your data to make seven copies of each record, or writing fairly complex VBA to Automate Word.

    This looks like the data source, not the main document (the form).

    Hi,

    Probably the simplest way to do this would be to embed the exisitng mergefields in a SET field to create a suitable bookmark, then use REF fields to replicate the mergefield values as often as needed.

    For example:
    {SET Label "{MERGEFIELD LAST_NAME}{MERGEFIELD FIRST_NAME}{MERGEFIELD MI}
