charts upon Pivot Tables (Excel 2002)

Forgive my blunder in etiquette, I have not checked for related posts.

Is there a way to make a chart on a pivot table without charting the WHOLE $@$#^*%&$@# PIVOT TABLE!? (pardon my expletives) What a royal pain in the @$$ to have to copy desired portions to another sheet as values, just to be able to do a chart.

    Mahalo for your feedback,

    JohnJ

You can create a "normal" chart based on pivot table data - see <post#=447459>post 447459</post#>. If that doesn't do what you want, please post back and explain what you want to accomplish.

Thank you very much, that did it. Sheer genius. An extra step, but still a good workaround.
