    Password (2003)

I want to put a graphic into a word document, which will be a 'Signature'. I want to put a password on this, so it won't appear until the password is entered. Is this possible?

This is not very safe, but for what it's worth, I have attached an example. The password is RobM (case sensitive), both on startup and to see the VBA code. Even though the code is protected, the startup password can be found in readable form in the document.

It doesn't ask for a password on startup, and there doesn't seem to be any code, (or aren't I looking in the right place)

    1. It may not work correctly if you try to open the document directly from the browser. Download it, then open the downloaded document.
    2. If you have macro security (Tools | Macro | Security) set to High, the code in the document will be disabled automatically.
    3. The code is hidden (but not very well). If you double-click the document in the Project Explorer (treeview) in the Visual Basic Editor, you'll be prompted for a password.

Its been a while, but I maybe back for a short while...

I did open your attached file via WordPad and I could see the nice graphic, a lady typing on her computer.

I was under the impression that the question was about password protect a signed document so that only "authorized" people can view the singature.

With WordPad around, I don't know how secure this can get. hum!!!!

    Codially

    Hi Wassim,

    Ouch! So much for this method of securing a document. <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15>

Thanks for pointing out this flaw!
